Description:
Cored induction furnace is also called channel induction furnace. It has an iron core which can pass through the induction coil. Because its heat source is surrounded by a metal groove, it is also named tank furnace. CORROCO cored induction melting furnace for Zinc smelting is mainly used for copper, aluminum, zinc and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys melting and heat preservation. This type of cored induction furnace is featured with fast heating, high electrical and thermal efficiency, high power factor, less metal loss, low smelting cost, less equipment investment (about one half to one third of coreless induction furnace), convenient operation, etc. This cored induction melting furnace functions very similarly to the coreless induction furnace, except for the addition of a heated core. Core induction furnaces were originally used as molten metal holders, but have been found useful in the melting of lower melt temperature metals. We adopt wooden boxes to avoid or reduce deformation during transportation.

Technical Features of Cored Induction Melting Furnace:
1. CORROCO adopts high-efficiency core induction furnace melting technology, which makes it have low energy consumption (about 105kwh/t Zinc, 50kWh/t Lead and Copper).
2. Our cored induction melting furnaces own high direct yield. We adopt N2 protection smelting technology, which makes Zn smelting rate reach up to 98%, 1% more than routine techniques.
3. This core induction furnace uses low frequency inverter power supply technology. Temperature variation is less than 2℃. It has small metal loss.
4. Electric power configuration and single furnace melting rate increase greatly. This makes our core induction melting furnaces own high capacity, about 18t/h Zn and15t/h Pb.
5. With large-scale equipment and high level of automation, the productivity of core induction furnace for Zinc smelting can reach 15-20t/d per person.

7. The core induction furnace can automatically control furnace temperature, which can reduce metal burning loss.
